Liz Quan is a Boulder-based ceramicist and designer known for her refined yet playful porcelain slip forms. After a successful career as an Art Director in New York publishing, she turned to ceramics to reconnect with hands-on creativity. Since beginning post-baccalaureate studies at the University of Colorado in 2005, she has exhibited at Walker Fine Art, the Arvada Center, and McNichols Civic Center. Working in porcelain for its purity, she explores its fragility and inherent qualities, pushing its boundaries with intention.
